CameraSync App Reviews

Set it and forget it

The background updating will automatically start the sync when you get home: perfect for a backup.

Great app

It simply works, and works well. No surprises. Extremely simple interface. Note does not work on ios6, but not their fault. Now it is working after lots of restarts etc. need ios6 update to make 60% of my apps to work. Hang in there as camerasync did make @ios6 updates and am sure will continue. Its another reason for the 5 star rating.

Best option

The only app at the moment that allows you to transfer photos in bulk to another device. Only draw back is that you cant select specific photos.

Gets the job done very well

I like it. Its my main picture backup application now

What a great app!

Great app, does what it says, stable and quick. Integrates with multiple cloud platforms. Exactly what i was looking for to keep my family pictures safely backed up. Keep up the good work!

Easy and simple

Great app, saves space on my iPhone.

Great concept, huge show-stopper Flickr bug

I really like the goal of this app, but for my needs at least theres a huge issue that prevents me from using it. If you choose Flickr as your upload destination the app ignores any privacy settings you set from CameraSync. ALL photos are uploaded as publicly viewable even when privacy is set to "private" in the app. Ive reproduced this bug a number of times and all attempts to contact the developer have been unanswered. If you use Flickr Id stay away until this is addressed.

Great way to back up the camera roll!

I have a pro Flickr account, as well as lots of space on Dropbox. When I get home everyday, the app automatically uploads the latest camera roll photos to specific folders in both (and the Flickr set is private, so the public cant see the photos). I love this app!

Excellent App

For me, the best way to copy my pics to google drive.

Great app; minor WebDAV issue

I couldnt get my WebDAV account set up initially and contacted the developer with a detailed report; no response. The issue ended up being that a trailing slash ( / ) needed to be added to the WebDAV path, though I couldnt find any documentation or support on this. Once I finally got it configured, it did a fantastic job. Its choked on larger video uploads (e.g. 300+ MB) and had to retry a few times with those, but overall its a heck of a lot simpler for ensuring my pics are backed up somewhere I can get at that easily without another iCloud device.

Great idea but

Its hella slow, Im uploading 260 pics, about 20 are short vids 1 min or under. I start at bedtime and have to leave screen on or app will cancel every time. Its been going now for an hr and only at 4% so far. Speed it up and Ill amend my rating, let the uploads continue I. Background and ill give another star also.

Seems decent

Sending camera roll to personal ftp server. Does what I says.

Best!

Simply the best!

Does The Trick

Backed up all my pictures to my Dropbox account. No problems. What else do you want?

Great

Works exactly as needed. Would be nice to be able to choose the set otherwise its great.

Daniel

Outstanding app: straightforward, easy to use, does what it says.

Get IFTTT instead

Im not sure why I paid for this app...I realized that theres a channel in IFTTT to upload your camera roll to Box. CameraSync uploads only when its running in foreground so its not a "set it and forget it" type of app. IFTTT uploads the pics automatically and immediately.

Fantastic

Works like Dropbox sync but better. It uses EXIF data to name photos by date-time or can keep original names. Works on many other cloud accounts like BOX the same way. Very much set and forget especially if you turn on geo-fencing to auto background sync when at certain locations. Can restrict uploads to wifi only. Love it.

Ruined by update

Fails uploading every second photo after the last update.

Great app!

It works as advertised, perfect if you have tons of pictures. OneDrive doesnt work anymore after the last update, please FIX this!!!
